Mellomy is a women's intimates and loungewear house. We make pieces for the hours that are actually yours: the layer under a dress, the set you sleep in, the thing you put on when the day is finished.

The category usually asks women to pick a side. What looks considered is priced like a luxury. What is comfortable is treated as an afterthought. We do not think that split is necessary. A piece can be sensual and easy to wear. It can be well made without carrying a luxury markup.

That is the brief. Beauty you can feel on the skin, and a price that stays honest.

1. Aesthetics

   Cut, color, and finish that hold up at close range. A clean neckline, lace that is finished, a rib that follows the body. Considered, not costume.

2. Comfort

   Cloth chosen for stretch, breath, and a soft hand. Straps that stay where you put them. Seams that do not scratch. Pieces you can sit in, sleep in, and leave the house in.

3. Pleasure

   Getting dressed can be something you do for yourself. A little sensual, never loud for its own sake. The standard is how you feel alone in the room, and how you feel when you step out of it.

4. A fair price

   We keep the markup low. The same attention to cloth and cut, without the premium that usually gets attached to it. A good piece should not be a special occasion.

5. Quality

   Stitching, lining, and hardware that survive a wash. We would rather make fewer claims, and stand behind the ones we do.
